The HKFC Badminton Society was formed in 2003 for Hong Kong Football Club members to socialise through badminton. In recent years, the society has evolved to complement this with development of coaching and team matches for those inclined. Junior development in badminton is an area that we are emphasising for the present and future.
HKFC members can join the Badminton Society for a family membership. Benefits include regular updates and priority on bookings for coaching courses. To join Badminton Society, please print out and fill in the Society membership form and then hand it to the main reception desk or the sports desk on the 1st floor.
Additionally, the HKFC Badminton Society organises regular social functions and matches. Friday evening sessions also includes team sparring sessions from 8.00pm to 10.30pm. Visitors with experience in playing Badminton Leagues and external competitions are welcome to attend for trial sessions.
Regular Badminton Society social sessions are held on, Fridays 7.00pm to 10.00pm and Sundays 10.00am to 1.00pm for socialising, improving fitness and games. Non-HKFC members visiting us on Badminton Society Sessions need to be endorsed as a guest by a HKFC Badminton Society member.
There are a limited number of Sports Preferred Memberships and Junior Associate Memberships available for joining HKFC under highly preferential terms. These are for players with competitive experience of leagues or of a higher level, and a commitment to the development of the Badminton Society. Thus, it is expected that such persons joining HKFC become involved with the the development of badminton and the Badminton Society fulfilling commitments to the teams, training sessions, events, and Hong Kong Football Club. Interested person are welcome to come along to social badminton sessions, training sessions and matches to know us better. For further enquiries, please contact us.
